Do you enjoy working with kids and being a role model? The BASE program is looking for energetic, caring, and responsible staff to help supervise the kids in the program. To apply, please complete the application forms below.
Beginning at 7:30 each morning; from a quiet space for reading or finishing homework to playing organized games in the gym, AM BASE is a great place to start your morning! For the 2018-2019 school-year, the AM BASE program is available to students who attend the following schools: Wakefield Forest, Canterbury Woods, Little Run, Olde Creek, Mantua, and Gesher Jewish Day School.
Make the most of every afternoon! The PM BASE program runs from the time the school dismisses until 6pm, Monday through Friday. For the 2018-2019 school-year, schools BASE serves include: Wakefield Forest, Canterbury Woods, Little Run, Olde Creek, Mantua, and Gesher Jewish Day School.
Upon arrival from school, your child will be escorted to their age-appropriate HOME BASE room where they will have the option to choose from the following activities:
• Homework help from staff
• Science, cooking, and arts and crafts projects
• Free creative play in the HOME BASE rooms, stocked with age-appropriate toys, games, and books
• Organized sports and team-building activities in our full-sized gymnasium and outside on the playground or field
• Snack provided daily
• Free swim twice a week in the J’s 25-meter, heated indoor pool
Students who attend Mantua Elementary School and Gesher Jewish Day School can ride their designated school bus to the J. Contact your child’s school to arrange transportation.
For 2018-2019, BASE provides transportation to the following schools: Wakefield Forest, Canterbury Woods, Little Run, and Olde Creek.

Private Music Lessons
The J offers private 30-minute music lessons for children ages 5 and up. Before registering, please contact Rachel.Dannick@jccnv.org to arrange a time slot. Schedule and instruments offered are subject to change.
