A balance of good health is achieved through services that nurture the mind, body, and spirit. Our goal in the Health & Fitness Department is to provide education and awareness that helps adults make healthy choices that lead to a fruitful life.
The Health and Fitness staff host monthly wellness workshops from September–May designed to engage, educate, and motivate members to adopt healthier lifestyles. Each month features a different workshop that focuses on the mind, body, or spirit.

Join this guided meditation with our Health and Fitness Instructor, Petya, to experience relaxation and rejuvenation while calming your mind and bringing peace to your soul. Meditation is well known to enhance health and well-being, release stress, improve sleep, and attract happiness, love and abundance. The session will include vivid visualizations with tranquil music and nature sounds.

The P.I.E.R program addresses post-rehabilitation needs related to injuries and chronic issues. It is also offered as the next step after physical therapy and occupational therapy. The P.I.E.R program is an aquatic program that can incorporate exercises on land.

J Fitness Friend – JFF
Consistency, challenge, friendship, and results. That is what working out with a friend can offer you. When working with a partner, workouts are more enjoyable and you stick with it longer. We want to offer you a chance to try it out with our new JFF program. J staff will match you up with another member, suggest three 30-minute sessions with one of our trainers (optional), and encourage you along the way.
