NEW SERIES! ISRAEL NOWIsrael Now, Part II: Building for the Future of the Galilee

Tuesdays, June 6–13 (2 weeks)

Instructors: Kenneth J. Krupsky, Esq. and Baruch A. Fellner, Esq., National Board Members, Jewish National Fund – USA

If you haven’t visited Israel for a while, or have never been there, this new series will enlighten you on what life is like in Israel today, and issues currently facing the Jewish state. The first session, on June 6, will be a non-partisan review of principal developments over the first six months of the Trump administration and how they affect Israel and U.S.-Israeli relations. On June 13, we will discuss exciting new initiatives to deal with the challenges of overpopulation and affordable housing shortages in Israel’s center — the Jerusalem/Tel Aviv/Haifa triangle — Israel’s economic, commercial and cultural hub. Israel’s national and local governments, businesses, non-profits, philanthropists and community activists are working on developing new areas with great potential and natural resources, such as the Galilee, in Northern Israel, to reduce the economic and social imbalance. Additional topics will be explored in future semesters.

Fee: $24/ $16 J members
Code: #8130
