Professor Shilo’s seminal work with developing embryos is not only scientifically significant, it is also beautiful! His groundbreaking work investigating how signaling enzymes inside cells operate during development, and what goes wrong when their communication system breaks down, provides hope for cancer prevention. In addition, his amazing photographs of cell division highlight the beauty of biology.
