The presidential elections may be over, but 2017 is shaping up to be a banner year in Virginia! On November 7, Virginia will be one of only two states in the nation holding gubernatorial elections, and all 100 seats in the Virginia House of Delegates will be in play. Will our elections serve as a bellwether for the rest of the country? Will they be a referendum on the Trump administration? What will be the key issues in the race? We are delighted to welcome back GMU political science professor Toni Travis, who will discuss Virginia’s high-profile elections and their significance here in the commonwealth and the rest of the country.
