Date: Wednesday, January 25, 2017

Presented by Becka Alper, Research Associate, Pew Research Center, Religion and Public Life

American Jews overwhelmingly say they are proud to be Jewish, according to a major survey done by the Pew Research Center in 2013. But the survey results also
suggest that Jewish identity is changing in America, where one-in-five Jews (22%) described themselves as having no religion. Becka will be here to present the Pew findings in regard to the demographics of Jews in the U.S.; Jewish identity and community involvement; Jewish observance and religious beliefs and practices; and attitudes toward Israel. Pew Research Center is a nonpartisan fact tank that informs the public about the issues, attitudes and trends shaping America and the world.
