1st Stage Theatre, Tysons, VA

Acclaimed by Time Magazine as the “best play of the 1980s, Broadway Bound is the third chapter in Neil Simon’s autobiographical trilogy. The story revolves around Eugene and his older brother Stanley who are trying to become professional comedy writers while coping with their parents’ break-up and eventual divorce. When their material — which mirrors their personal lives — is broadcast on the radio for the first time, family relationships are tested. This Pulitzer Prize-nominated play is directed by Shirley Serotsky, a freelance theater director based in the Washington area whose works include Yentl at Theatre J. Seating is limited, so sign up early!
