USA Swimming Head Coach needed for competitive swim team, Monday - Thursday after school/10 hours a week.
ASCA level 2 and Current USA Swimming Coaching Certifications (CPR, FA, Safety Training for Swim Coaches), Minimum 2 years coaching experience with developmental age group swimming. Compensation -very competitive with others PVS teams.
We are looking for an enthusiastic coach for a pre-swim team/ swim school level instruction ages 5 - 12 in Fairfax, VA; Monday-Friday after school/5 hours a week/ September-May and Sundays year around. There is potential for more hours.
Requirements minimum 1 year experience with developmental age group swimming preferred. Up to $40 per practice depending upon experience.
Working hours for private swim classes/ group swim classes are flexible. Shifts can be set up to fit your needs weekdays as well as weekends.
Salary: $17 - $25/ 30 minutes class based on experience.

The Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia (JCCNV) is looking for an experienced candidate to be our lead Chef for our advanced cooking class for adults ages 18+ with intellectual or developmental disabilities (ID/DD). In this class, participants will learn how to prepare healthy and delicious meals while following detailed recipes. Participants will learn about basic cooking equipment and skills using a variety of appliances and cooking utensils. In addition, participants will learn about the fundamentals of grocery shopping, nutrition, and meal planning. The goal of the class is for participants to become more independent in the kitchen and have a repertoire of recipes to choose from.
The instructor will design simple recipes to help students develop independent cooking skills with assistance from staff, taking into account accommodations and additional resources such as visual aids.
Must be able to plan independently, be flexible, creative, experience working with people with ID/DD, lead and manage assistants in helping to lead hands-on lessons, have patience and a great sense of humor. Seeking a candidate who has a background in both culinary skills and teaching.
