Would you like to be a part of Amateur Hour: JCCNV’s Got Talent Show?

Thursday, December 4th, 7–9pm

Ages: 18+ Members and Staff

Do you have a talent and want to be a part of an exciting evening? Email Keri Drugan at and let her know your name and talent and show up to the First Showing on Tuesday, November 11th from 6-8pm to give the Talent Show Task Force an idea of what you’ll be doing.  Submissions for talent must be given by Tuesday, November 11th.


Time: 2–5 minutes per performance
Type: Solo, duet, trio, quartet, small group (5-10 people)

Categories Include (but are not limited to):

Dance, music, storytelling, comedy, poetry reading, athletic competitions (plank off, push-up contest, etc.), lip syncing with costumes, double-dutch jump-roping, extreme hula hooping, gymnastics, yoga, basketball tricks, ethnic traditions, impersonations, acting, magic, etc. *No animals, no flames/explosives, or anything else that may be disruptive or harmful to the audience.

Other Important Information:

Only a microphone and a piano will be provided. Any other props, instruments, etc. will need to be provided by the performers.


JCCNV 10th Annual Rowing Championship


November 9–22*


To participate, row 2000 meters using a rowing machine in the fitness room. Then post your time on the registration form and you’ll receive a t-shirt just for rowing and recording your time. Fastest times in each age/gender group will receive a prize!


*Rowing must be completed by November 22nd.


This is a free event — open to all members ages 11 and up**.
