Cardio Kickboxing
High-Energy “Martial Arts” and “Aerobic-Style” Workout!

Fit N’ Tone Light Water Aerobic Workout
Stretching and toning utilizing full length of pool.

Jazzercise Aerobic and Dance Movement
Working legs and abdomen to rousing music.

Kickboxing Interval Aerobic Exercise Program
Punching and kicking using mitts and shields.

Low Impact and Strength Training

Combines low impact exercise with large muscle strength training.

Sculpt and Shape
Focuses on upper and lower body contouring and shaping.

Shalom Yoga
Combines gentle yoga movement with Judaic teachings.

SilverSneakers®
Chair or standing exercise designed for functional strength training for seniors 65+.

Water Aerobics (H2O)
Conducted in the shallow area of the pool; gentle on the joints.

Babysitting PDF Print E-mail

Monday thru Friday
9:30am—1pm for children six months of age and older.

Staffing is provided by the Early Childhood department. Register at the JCCNV front desk at least 24-hours, but no more than 48-hours, in advance. Drop-ins will be accepted on a space-available basis. Maximum five children.
Cost: Free Member/ Non-Member $1.50 per 1/2 hour minimum

Youth Fitness Room Training PDF Print E-mail
Instructor: Matt Alvin
Six approximately 60-minute sessions.     
Now 11–13 year olds can learn to use the fitness room on their own. Work one-on-one with an SFA staff trainer to learn to use the fitness room equipment and develop an exercise and training program that will improve health, self-confidence and self-esteem.
Ongoing: Monday thru Thursday only.
Cost: $95M/ $130NM (6 classes)

Fitness Room Age Requirements:  Members ages 14 and older may use the room at any time.  Members ages 11—13 must complete the Youth Fitness Training Class before being allowed to work out in the fitness room.

Proper Attire Required: Shorts or sweatpants, T-shirt or sweatshirt and athletic shoes.

Lockers are available for rent through the SFA office from January through December 2008.  Fees will be pro-rated for rentals after January 31, 2008.
