Jewish Life @ College for Teens

Location: Temple Rodef Shalom
Have you thought about what it will be like to be a Jewish student at the schools you’re considering? What are their Hillel student centers like? Where will you attend High Holiday services and celebrate Chanukah? Can you get kosher for Passover meals in the dining hall?
Join us as we hear from a panel of Jewish students from Virginia colleges and universities who will share their experiences on campus and respond to any questions you may have.
Dinner will be included in the program.
Superbowl Party with BBYO! (Spring Council Kick-Off)

Kick off the new term with BBYO while we watch the Super Bowl! Get to know the BBYO members, learn about other things going on with BBYO, all while enjoying the football game. Registration will be available on b-linked.

4th Annual Ski Trip!

We are hitting the slopes for skiing, tubing and snowboarding for our 4th annual trip to Massanutten! Get your snow gear ready and plan to attend!

Join Northern Virginia teens for a not-to-be-missed evening event! Dance party, trivia contest, costume competition and carnival games! Look for more information on costume themes! This event is in partnership with all the Northern Virginia congregations and BBYO.

Virginia/Maryland College Tour: Spring Edition
Sunday-Tuesday, March 29–31
Join fellow teens for a tour of three Virginia & Maryland colleges/universities! We will visit James Madison University, Virginia Tech and the University of Maryland. The trip will include a tour of the campus, a meet and greet with Hillel representatives and, of course, some time for fun.

Join teens from the J and BBYO for an unconventional and fun-filled Seder as Northern Virginia teens come together for a Chocolate Seder to learn about Passover and to eat delicious Passover treats!
Fee: $20/ $15 member

Join the J and BBYO for an all day trip to Hershey Park! Taste the chocolate, ride the roller coasters and spend a great day with other Northern Virginia teens! Transportation and entrance included, food is on your own, kosher food available.
Fee: $125/ $100 member

The Northern Virginia delegation for JCC Maccabi Games® and JCC Maccabi ArtsFest® will choose between Fort Lauderdale, FL and Milwaukee, WI for an amazing event where thousands of Jewish teens meet, compete and have a great time creating memories that will last a lifetime! It’s much more than just a week of sports and the arts. Teen athletes/artists participate throughout the week in tournaments, community service projects, exciting social events, and best of all — everyone is Jewish!
Arts Specialties might include: musical theater, acting, improv, vocal music, rock, jazz, and visual arts.
Sports might include: basketball, baseball, soccer, volleyball, girls’ softball, in-line hockey, lacrosse, bowling, dance, swimming, tennis, table tennis, and track and field. Most sports are available for both boys and girls.
