David Astrow, Personal Trainer
David has been a personal trainer at the JCCNV since 2010. He is a second degree brown belt in Karate, a purple belt and certified instructor in Level 2 Brazilian Jujitsu, and reached the second level in Krav Maga. David is from the Northern Virginia area and wrestled all four years at Annandale High School where he is now the Assistant Varsity Wrestling Coach and has coached two State Champions. David’s favorite thing about working at the JCCNV is the warm and welcoming atmosphere and being able to help people of all ages reach their personal health and fitness goals. In his spare time, David enjoys being active, completing the Crossfit WOD (workout of the day), and playing paintball with his friends.

Jane Hansen, Personal Trainer
Jane Hansen has enjoyed exercise and fitness through years of jogging and being a group instructor teaching Jazzercise classes. Jane has been with the JCCNV since 1992 as a certified Jazzercise Instructor and Personal Trainer, and she recently completed her degree in Exercise Science from George Mason University. What Jane enjoys most about working at the JCCNV is getting to know the members and learning more about the Jewish heritage and traditions. When Jane is not at the JCCNV, she loves yard and garden work, catching up with her four children, and obedience training her two Pomeranians. Jane specializes in core training, weight training, adults/senior fitness and working with clients with osteopenia.

Kasha Williamson, Personal Trainer
Kasha has been a competitive athlete since attending high school in the Northern Virginia area. She has competed in downhill skiing, road cycling, and collegiate cross country at Virginia Tech. As an adult juggling work, kids, and training, she now primarily trains for triathlons, running, and cycling events. She has competed full and half Ironman’s and is a USAT age-group finisher (top 3 within age group) at the Olympic distance. Kasha was recently named a 2012 USA Triathlon All American (top 5% in the USA). Her favorite thing about working at the JCCNV is seeing all of the friendly faces and not having to wait for exercise equipment! Outside of work, Kasha enjoys training for her next triathlon or cycling event, vegetarian cooking, travelling, and knitting.

Rachelle Kaufman, Personal Trainer
Rachelle has been a personal trainer since 2007. She attended the University of Virginia where she completed her undergraduate degree, and attended the University of Denver to complete her graduate degree. Rachelle enjoys working with a variety of clientele including individuals recovering from injuries or medical issues and training clients with physical limitations. Rachelle is a certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist through NASM. She teaches and trains throughout the Northern Virginia area, but loves working at the JCCNV because it is a place where you can form new friendships, socialize, and workout. Outside of work, she enjoys running, yoga, triathlon training, knitting and trivia.
