Shalom (Hello)! Did you always want to converse in Hebrew? Join Na’ama each week for conversational Hebrew. You will learn and practice Hebrew in a fun and interactive way while learning more about Israel!

The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington and the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) in collaboration with the J are very excited to announce the fourth cohort of the Israel Engagement Fellowship (IEF) taking place this fall.
Become part of this prestigious fellowship program to discuss your connection to Israel in an authentic way. During a seven-part seminar, you will:
Examine the special relationship our Jewish community has with the State of Israel
Gain advocacy and social media skills
Learn how to be a savvy consumer of media and information
Evaluate the many ways you can be pro-Israel on college campuses and beyond
Fellows must be in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade to apply for this unique program. Upon completion of the seminar, Fellows will be prepared to lead peer discussions about Israel in their community.

This drop-in cultural dance program incorporates Jewish and Israeli culture through choreographed dances set to modern music by Israeli artists. The dances students learn are recognized in most programs internationally. No experience is required. Ethan Halpern has been offering this popular Israeli Dance program for 20 years at the J.
