Presented by: Steve Livengood, Public Programs Director and Chief Guide for the US Capitol Historical Society

The United States Capitol is among the most symbolically important and architecturally impressive buildings in the nation. It is the meeting place for the
House and Senate, and has an amazing and rich history going back to its initial construction starting in 1793.

With his wealth of knowledge, Steve will be at Beth El to share the history, the triumphs and the scars of events at the Capitol, and draw a conclusion that sums up the meaning of our government and the Constitution for which it stands.

Steve has been with the USCPS since 1993 and continues to lead VIP and specialized tours of the Capitol, along with training Congressional staff and Washington city
tour guides.
