Homewood Museum of The Johns Hopkins University, Lunch with Inner Harbor View and Narrated Cruise of Baltimore Harbor
We begin our “Baltimore Day” with a tour of the Homewood Museum which is a National Historic Landmark built in 1801. It is one of the nation’s finest examples of Federal-era architecture, renowned for its elegant proportions and superb collection of American decorative arts. After the tour we will eat a wonderful three-course lunch at the Rusty Scupper Restaurant in a “room with a view,” at the renowned Inner Harbor. Then we are off for a 45-minute entertaining and educational narrated cruise of Baltimore’s Harbor. You will be introduced to Baltimore, its history and the renaissance of the Inner Harbor. See and learn about Federal Hill, the city skyline, the Domino Sugar refinery, Fells Point, the USS Constellation and catch a glimpse of Fort McHenry. The boat has a climate-controlled lower deck and an open upper deck. What a great day way to spend a summer day!
