It's always nice to watch a feel-good movie and Queen of Katwe is just that. Set in the slums of Katwe, Uganda, it follows the true story of Phiona, whose world changes when she's introduced to the game of chess.  The 11-year-old becomes fascinated with the game and finds her natural talent, eventually going on to win the Ugandan championship. At just 14, she represents Africa at the World Chess Olympiad. It's the amazing true story of a young girl's fight to escape poverty and save her family.

The film stars Golden-Globe nominee David Oyelowo and Oscar winner Lupita N'yong'o, and has received rave reviews.
