Join us for an interesting presentation on the amazing accomplishments, and sometimes difficult challenges, faced by our first five Jewish communities – Newport, RI, New Amsterdam/New York, Philadelphia, PA, Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA (with a brief look also at early Baltimore, Richmond, and Lancaster).
Chaplain Bloom will also travel with us on Thursday, May 11th when we visit Richmond to view Congregation Beth Ahabah Museum and Archives.
