Don't do it alone!

Responding to the needs of women who are not Jewish, but raising Jewish children, The Mother’s Circle program:

• Offers free education in Jewish rituals, practices and values
• Creates a warm, supportive community of women who
have made similar choices for their families
• Respects the participant’s choice to retain her own religious
identity while providing a Jewish family life for her children
 
Cost: FREE

The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington Establishes Community Emergency Assistance Fund in Response to Economic Downturn PDF Print E-mail

BannerOn Thursday, October 2, the Board of The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington agreed to create a $300,000 Community Emergency Assistance Fund. This fund will alleviate the increased financial pressures local Federation agencies are facing due to the country's recent economic downturn. This funding will last through the end of calendar year 2008, but the Board also agreed to review proposals to extend more funding into 2009. Read More
