The play didn’t reach Broadway until just a decade ago, but Abby Mann’s searing script had already been presented as an acclaimed live TV drama in the 50’s and a star-studded Hollywood blockbuster in the 60’s. Mann created a stage version of the courtroom drama for a limited, and much praised, Broadway run. The play is based on the true story of the war crime trials that followed WWII. The play raises important moral issues that remain relevant and controversial today. If possible, a short post-play discussion will be arranged for us by the theatre.
After the play we will go as a group to a restaurant for an early dinner – TBA.
Fee: $36/ $31 JCCNV member (includes bus transportation and matinee ticket to play.)
Dinner is on your own at restaurant, separate charge, order from menu.
RSVP: Submit payment and registration form to the JCCNV, Attn: Michele Endick. Make check payable to JCCNV with “6/22” on memo line.
