This exhibit commemorates Yom Ha’Shoah and survivors of the Holocaust. The theme takes its name from this year’s Jewish Community Relations Council’s (JCRC) annual Holocaust commemoration (on April 7 at the JCCNV). Artists have been asked to create a work of art that represents the Holocaust. The image or object might be based on an individual local survivors’ story or the artists’ interpretation of the broader theme of the Holocaust era. The artist is free to develop their piece in the manner and medium of their choice.
