Discounted Program & Class Rates
Throughout this section, you’ll notice that JCCNV members are referred to as Mishpacha (family) and nonmembers are warmly referred to as Chaverim (friends). As a benefit of membership, the JCCNV offers Mishpacha discounts on classes and programs which you’ll see noted throughout the program guide by an M following the cost. Our Chaverim (friends) rates are followed by a C. Of course, in order for membership rates to apply, membership must remain current throughout the duration of the class/program.

Registration opens Monday, December 12, 2011
Children must be three years old as of September 30, 2011, in order to enroll in most specialty classes. Children attending the ECLC must be enrolled in the three-year-old or four-year-old program. The only exception is the Mini Mini Gym Class, which is designed for children enrolled in the two-year-old program. Please check class descriptions carefully for age requirements.

Jewish Jamboree
Ages 3-5

Hola: Basic Spanish

Join Morah Ruth for Spanish classes! Enjoy learning colors, numbers and basic words through games, movement and music!
Young Musicians
Ages 4 1/2-6
Instructor: Margie Bassman, music educator and professional violinist.
Tuesdays, January 3–March 27 (13 weeks)
Little Hands “Young Musicians” class is a pressure-free, developmentally appropriate transition to musically succeed before taking on more formal instruction. Young Musicians helps every child develop a confident, joyful voice for singing and speaking as well as essential building blocks for a future of learning. Students explore many facets of the musical experience—speaking, singing, moving, dancing, listening, creating and playing instruments as well as learning to read and write music. New students welcome (no previous experience required)!
Cooking Around the World

Little Yogis!
Session I
Ages 3-5
Instructor: Judy Eskowitz
Thursdays, January 5–February 23 (8 weeks)
Enroll your little ones in this fun-loving class that uses breath work, yoga poses, movement, songs and stories that encourage children to move their bodies in fun and creative ways. Classes end with a quiet relaxation so little ones begin to learn how to calm themselves down. Kids’ yoga is a wonderful way for children to develop self-confidence, motor skills, boost their listening and speaking skills and increase their focus, concentration and self-regulation. All of this is done in a playful, safe and nurturing environment. Have your child take part in this fun experience!
Judy received her 200-hour Kripalu Yoga Training at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Kripalu means compassion, and Judy guides her students to move at their own pace honoring their body without judgment. Judy’s passion for nurturing children has also led her to become a certified children’s yoga instructor with a specialty in working with children with special needs. Judy encourages children to discover that yoga provides them with a safe and supportive environment where they can develop at their own pace and be accepted for all the gifts they have! Judy is a member of The International Association of Yoga Therapists.

Dazzling Dough

Tuesdays, February 7–28 (4 weeks)
Your child will use all sorts of fun and unusual ingredients to make a dazzling array of dough.
Let’s Get Messy!

Your child will join Miss Sarah in our Art Studio to create masterpieces. Please remember to DRESS for the MESS!
Alphabet Soup!

Children will discover the fun in learning letters through crafts, songs, drama and games.
Build a Rainbow
Ages 3-5
Tuesdays, March 6–27 (4 weeks)
This class will teach children to explore their way through the rainbow using art, science, cooking and movement.
Petite Picassos
Ages 3-5
Wednesdays, March 7–28 (4 weeks)
Your young artists will explore and experiment with new techniques in painting, collage, mosaics and sculpture.
