Being a member has its benefits! The JCCNV offers discounts to our members on classes and programs. In order for membership rates to apply, membership must remain current throughout the duration of the class/program. Please click here for additional membership benefits.

This program is for beginning to intermediate level adult dancers. All classes are taught by professional dance educators who will work with the individual students to structure the class around your abilities. Adult dance is a great way to improve balance, flexibility and coordination while having a great time. Classes can be paid for using dance class cards or by registering for the session.

Adult Tap Dance

Ages: 13+

Wednesdays, July 3–August 14 (7 weeks)

6:30pm–7:30pm

A percussive dance form that helps to develop both rhythm and balance. This class explores the structure, vocabulary, and music that encompass tap. All skill levels are welcome, instructor will work with various levels to personalize your class experience. Students should wear comfortable clothing and black leather lace up tap shoes.

Adult Hip Hop Fusion

Ages: 13+
Thursdays, July 11–August 15 (6 weeks)
6:30pm–7:30pm

Get into shape and have fun during this high-impact dance class that will leave you sweating and wanting more! All skill levels are welcome. The instructor will work with various levels to personalize your class experience. Please dress comfortably and bring clean sneakers to wear for the class.

Make Your Move

Join us in this great movement program that will incorporate dance, music and a whole lot of fun! This program is for adults of ANY ability. You will have the freedom to move to your own beat while maximizing your own individual strengths.

Israeli Dance

Ages: 13+
Tuesdays, 7:45pm–9:45pm

Instructor: Ethan Halpern

This drop-in cultural dance program incorporates Jewish and Israeli culture through choreographed dances set to modern Israeli music. The dances you’ll learn are recognized in most programs internationally. No experience is required. Ethan Halpern has been offering this popular Israeli Dance program for 20 years at the JCCNV. See you on the dance floor! Preregistration not required.
Fee: $10/ $6 JCCNV member/ $5 student
