Annual NoVa International Jewish Film Festival

Mission Statement:
The NoVa International Jewish Film Festival promotes understanding of the diversity within Jewish life and culture. Through film's broad appeal and educational programming, our goal is to create opportunities for dialogue within the greater Northern Virginia community by sharing our varied Jewish journeys.


To give you an idea about the programming, here's information from our 2009 festival.

Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington Rockville, Maryland
Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia Fairfax, Virginia
Rosslyn Spectrum Arlington, Virginia

In 2009, our robust schedule boasted an exciting roster of twenty films—65 screenings—of movies from the U.S., Canada, Israel and Europe.

Tickets for individual screenings were purchased at theater box offices, or, patrons purchased special advance Super Passes to avoid the lines!

 

TICKETS:
The Gold Pass, good for admission to all films and programs including special opening and closing receptions. Pre-registration for both receptions was required. Cost: $150 JCCNV Members, $175 Non-Members. 

The Silver Pass, good for admission to all films and programs excluding the opening and closing receptions. Cost: $100 JCCNV Members, $125 Non-Members.

 

Seats are guaranteed up to 15 minutes prior to the showtime. 

2009 Ticket Prices

$10.00      Adults
$  7.00      Seniors, Students and before 6pm
$  3.50      Special morning screenings, 10:30am at Cinema Arts Theater      
$  6.00      Groups of 10 or more. See “Group Sales” for More Information.
$30.00      Opening or closing films/receptions (Pre-registration required
                 for closing event by May 11.)

Sponsorship Opportunities

Ticket prices cover less than half of the expenses associated with the film festival. Please consider supporting the film festival by becoming a special sponsor. All sponsors will be listed in the film festival brochure and featured in our pre film slide show. These sponsorships are tax deductible and include special Gold Passes. Please read below for details:

Angel - $1,000 (and up) – Your name prominently displayed in the film festival program book and slide show. You will also receive two Gold Passes for all films and programs and opening and closing receptions.

Group Sales

Looking for an easy way to get together with your organization or group? Groups must be 10 or more, tickets are $6.00 per person and are good for all films and programs, except the opening and closing receptions.
