Early Childhood Career Opportunities

Looking for work? Love to work with young children? The Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia is looking for candidates for the following positions:

Preschool Seasonal Assistant Teacher (40 hrs per week)
Preschool Floater Position to work in various classrooms throughout the day with ages infant through 4 years old (40 hrs per week)
Part-time Afternoon Childcare Staff (20- 30 hours per week)
Infant Substitute Teachers

Requirements include being a positive, energetic and loving individual, experience working with young children, and an interest in working in a fun-loving Jewish environment.

Babysitter:

15 hours a week starting in September; Pay rate $10–$12 per hour

Special Needs Shadows

Now accepting applications for special needs one-on-one shadowing/support for our school-age after-school programs. Hours include Monday 1:30pm-6pm, Tuesday-Friday 4-6pm and Sunday 3-4pm.

Special Education Assistant Teacher

Looking for an assistant teacher to help lead special education social classes in Arlington. Must be available Wednesday’s from 4pm–6:30pm starting Sept 29 through November 17. Some special education experience preferred.

Classes include: Let’s Play social class for children ages 6-8 and Friends social class, for children ages 9-12.
